CHEVELLE AND KYLE

Chevelle, Kyle and I spent the afternoon together job hunting. We are postive that something will come available. I just love her determination and willingness. WE also checked into getting her G.E.D. and the first class is next Friday. I just know God is going to use her in a big way at the Dream Center. Thank you Lord for letting me serve your people!!!!!!!!!

FUN FAMILY SUNDAY

LSU Women's Basketball for great family fun on a Sunday afternoon. If you have never been, you should give it a try. Playing on the Indian Mounds afterwards or a picnic before is great fun, too. My mom, dad and grandmother as well as Brandy, Bradley and Kailey were all present and into the fun. The girls even achieved the Cane's challenge, so we got to eat at the original Cane's after the game.

New York--SNOW AND COLD

My sister convinced me that I needed to experience New York in the winter. Boy, did I learn real quick about winter delays. Once I finally got to Albany and then Tivoli, I was ready for some fun. With the proper clothing, and many layers, it really wasn't too bad. Here is a picture of her new addition, Paul. My sister owns a pet sitting business, so each day we were out and about walking dogs and tending to cats. I had a great time; however, I did learn one thing--give me the sand, not the snow.

A LADY IN NEED........

It is amazing how God will put people across your path that need to teach you something. This precious lady was just that person. She was homeless, wheelchair bound and had no identification. Ms. Green with Youth With a Mission Vision Shelter agreed to house her until I could take her and get all the necessary documentation. Let the journey begin..........After many, many hours and countless trips to and from the DMV, Vital Statistics, Clerk of Courts, Social Security Office, Social Services, and DHH, we finally obtained her information. Of course, in the process, I learned a great deal. She was just an absolute trooper through all this. Not to mention, one day this was done in the pouring rain and no handicap license plate.
